Product Details
In a Quick lock scaffolding system, the Vertical/ Standard (also known as the "Standard" or "Upright") serves as the primary load-bearing member. It is a vertical steel tube that forms the backbone of the scaffold, transferring the weight of the structure, materials, and personnel down to the base.
Key Features & Components
The Cup-Node System: Standards feature fixed bottom cups welded at standardized intervals (typically 500mm) and sliding top cups. This mechanism allows for the secure locking of up to four horizontal ledgers at a single point with a simple hammer blow.
Integral Spigots: Each standard is equipped with an internal spigot (typically 150mm long) at the top to allow for secure vertical connection to the next standard.
Locking Pin Holes: Both the spigot and the base of the standard contain pre-drilled holes to enable the use of Locking Pins/G Pin/Prop Pin, which are necessary to resist tensile forces between members.
